The story continues...
Kimsabi is located in the Palm Jumeirah, one of Dubai’s famous soaring skylines. Enjoy contemporary Japanese and Korean cuisine while over looking a spectacular fountain display with stunning shows from the unique structure of Dubai’s man-made island. Our experience can be served at any of our four seating areas as the the passion and love for Kimsabi and our guest is passed through all or teams and well renowned chefs.
OUR SPACE
The space is finished in turquoise mosaic mural tile and features a marble counter table. The restaurant prides itself on its vivid tones of green around our space. The ambient dim lighting and hand crafted ceramics and tableware plates all play a role in setting the unique aesthetic of our restaurant and making sure customers are content with their dining experience
Kimsabi celebrates passion for ingredient-driven cuisine, beautiful craft and thoughtful conversation. All the while being surrounded by the theatrical backdrop of Dubai’s cityscape.

Masaharu Michiba is generally credited as the inventor of today's Tokyo-style nigiri sushi. His sushi is totally different from today's "raw fish" stereotype. Masaharu’s cookery was a departure from the Japanese eating habits of the time, he showcases his multi-talents by overseeing the complex operation of the sushi bar.
Head Chef Tatsou Sakai takes on a unique approach to cooking, while attempting to capture the flavors & experiences of the region while utilizing his knowledge of Korean, Japanese & Middle Eastern techniques and standards.
Inspired by her hometown of Korea, Judy Too is a Korean food icon and a significant source of inspiration for discerning clientele across the globe. She has seen Dubai’s food scene evolve over her many years in the industry and ensures to produce memorable dishes.

‘Kimsabi’ expresses my love for Korean and Japanese unique cultures through their food. It’s a contemporary Asian restaurant that is informal, yet sophisticated, with great food, service, and cocktails. Through our delivery and service we aim to spread knowledge and protect the nature of both cuisines for future generations.
